Can you use a different brand bulb in an Ott Lite, besides an Ott lightbulb?

I've got an Ott Lite and it requires a specific bulb which is no longer available. Does anyone know if you can use a different brand of bulb in an Ott Lite, or do they make adaptors for using other brands of bulbs? The bulb I'm replacing is the Ott PST27R.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
