If, by "criminal justice", you mean work as any sort of police or law enforcement officer, I don't think so. At least, not in the US. Having a criminal conviction won't keep you from getting a degree in criminal justice, if you are so inclined.

There may be non-law enforcement jobs that you can get, once you have the degree. There are a lot of ancillary jobs that come under the heading of "criminal justice. " But any job that requires you to be bonded, or to carry a firearm, is out.

Good luck! Katherine .

Well, thanks Katherine. Do you a list or any types of jobs in non-law enforcement? That I may be able to get?

I really am interested in this filed and don't want to waste my time. Mexican_ma 14 months ago .

I suggest that you talk to a career counselor. They can advise you better than I can. Check at your local State Job Services office (what used to be called the unemployment office); they usually have career counselors there.

I do think part of what you might be able to train for will depend on exactly what your felony conviction was for. I doubt it is going to be an easy road. But don't let that stop you!

:)Katherine .

Of course not. That would be like having the inmates run the Asylum.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
