I took a look at this after you posted it, and like you I came up utterly empty other than a reference to the company itself from a 1923 (I think) referring to its Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. Usually eBay is a good place to estimate how the market values items, by doing an Advanced Search for Sold items, but there is virtually nothing there either. I did see one item that was somewhat similar and sold for around $240 plus a good amount for shipping, so the other answer recommending that is probably a fair idea, though I don't know what kind of fees are involved with that.
Shipping are going to be expensive, so make sure you don't eat that. Also make it known whether or not it's operational. It's a neat item, though, and surely someone collects such things, or could find a use for it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
