Changing the origin of a rotation matrix in XNA?

It would probably be a lot easier to just rotate the four corners first before adding the spritePosition and add the spriteposition after the rotation and scaling has been performed.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
