Childs Lupus Anticoagulant, Transient in nature?

The name came about from its first detection in a patients with lupus. It has also been detected in patients who do not have lupus and so the proper name was changed to antiphospholipid syndrome. The name came about as mentioned because it was found in lupus patients and the tests to screen for such an antibody caused a prolonged time ie anticoagulation in tube testing.

The irony of it is that clinically it does not cause a prolonged clot time but the opposite, a clotting syndrome. It's an antibody that causes anticoagulation in test systems but causes blood clots in people and later associated with obstetrical complications. There is no single one test that is recommended for ruling in or ruling out a lupus anticoagulant but a panel of tests is required to do so.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
