I hear you, it is a sad and terrible situation. Most of the flow will be capped off by tomorrow or the next day. I truly believe that they are doing all they can to fix it but this is a serious clusterf*ck.

I am personally under the belief that this needed to happen to truly bring to light just how dangerous drilling is and stress how much we need to look into alternatives. We will be feeling the effects of this spill for years. It is a terrible and sad event but it is also historical one, one that people can't put their heads in the sand about and act like nothing's going on.

Positive change doesn't seem to come until the masses get slapped in the face with a large dose of negativity. It's a shame that animals have to suffer from our stupidity. Maybe one day we will learn.

Anyways, I used to participate in groups that would do energy sendings and they were effective. I once did this with the D.C. Sniper case and I emailed everyone spiritual I knew, posted it in the forums of a website, emailed it to my sister and asked her to pass it on to all her Christian friends and I even got through on the local radio station and made a request there...I got the message out before they laughed at me and hung up on me. The D.C. Snipers were caught the very next morning.

I don't think this oil spill can be stopped like that though. The reality is, the Earth is doing it's thing and the major fix will take two months no matter how fast they work. The damage is done, Mother Earth is relentless.

The only thing that magick or prayer can help at this point is making sure that the attempt to cap will work and that all the workers remain safe...and love and light can be sent to the suffering animals. Divine intervention only goes so far and it tends to cooperate with the laws of the Universe. There are a lot of spiritual people on myspace that coordinate things like these but I haven't seen anything come through about this.

Sorry, but you've been watching too much television. In real life psychic powers are mostly notable for their spectacular inability to live up to Hollywood. While a Telekinetic on Heroes might be able to pick up a man and throw him through a wall, in real life they'd struggle to pick up tennis ball and role it off of the edge of a table.

Human minds are not linked by a psychic web, that was made up by the new age movement and is mostly a metaphor for socialism, and for cooperation in the mundane everyday world. The amount of energy that the human mind produces simply isn't sufficient for minds to be linked. You'd struggle to link with the mind of a person in the next room, let alone with people all over the world.

The human mind is like a cell phone without phone mast. It doesn't have sufficient power to push a signal any real distance. Even if people were linked it would be useless.

How could somebody in Spain use use psychic powers to stop an oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico. They'd need to have specific knowledge of where the spill was in relation to them self. A map isn't enough, they'd need to know exactly where it was in 3 dimensions, otherwise they'd channel their psychic energy to the wrong place.

More so, how would you actually use psychic energy to stop the leak? Would you create a mental shield around the pipe to block the flow of oil, would you try to transform the oil into something else at the molecular level? Maybe all of the world's telekinetic could get together and stuff a dead whale into the end of the pipe?

You'd need a plan, simply wanting the oil to stop isn't going to work? I'm going to put my trust in the media on this one. That they'll embarrass BP into finding and paying for a solution.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
