Christians - According to your logic, heaven will lack free will?

I believe the reason there is so much lack of 'one accord' in Christian groups is because people do not want to adhere to the Doctrines of Christ, but they all have their own ideas. The Apostle Paul said, "Now I plead with you brethren by the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement (1 Corinthians 1:10). It is impossible to all speak the same thing when some people don't know what the Bible says and others think it is outdated and old fashioned and that we as a Church should move with the times etc. When everyone is going in different directions, all wanting their own ways instead of Christ's way, there can never be unity.

We were given the Bible specifically so that we could all believe the same things and speak the same things but people being people, they just won't adhere to one book, even though it is God's final word on everything. Just as happened in Paul's day, when some people said they were of Paul, or Apollos or Cephas or of Christ (1 Corinthians 1:12) so it is today. Some people in a Church follow the Faith Movement, others follow people such as Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn, Jimmy Swaggart or anyone else we could name here, when all of us should say, "I follow Christ" or "As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord."

I have noticed terrific discord in Prayer meetings because I have been rebuked when I have prayed for someone to be healed. A member of the Church said, "you don't pray for healing because we are already healed, our healing was in the Atonement so we should only ever thank God for our healing and say it is done". Not many days later, the poor man who was being subjected to all of this passed away.

He had cancer. On another occasion, I refused to have anything to do with praying for a man to receive the Holy Spirit, when he had only just come in off the street, he had not repented of his sins or been water baptised by full immersion and worst of all, he was obviously under the influence of something strong (alcohol or drugs I don't know which). A few days later an elder came to my home to rebuke me for this.

The person who wanted to pray for this man was a fairly new Christian (female) and because I would not be in agreement with her, she reported me to the Leadership. Unfortunately I had to stop attending the Prayer Group because I do not agree with a prayer group in a Church without proper Leadership and I realise that disagreement just cannot work in prayer. God wants unity and if two on earth shall agree as touching, anything that they ask, it shall be done of My Father in heaven (Matthew 18:19).

I believe unless we all come into agreement over God's Word, nothing eternal can be accomplished for the kingdom. Some people believe that a person only has to say, "Jesus please come into my heart and save me" and that person is saved, born again, and in a position to be prayed for to receive the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit which I believe are only distributed according to His will not ours. (1 Corinthians 12:11).

It is more than this and, it has been this way since the beginning of time. We have to remember who We are , What we are in Gods eyes and what we should do to help others attain their gift of Salvation, while darkness might still be apart of their life {not yet having the Holy Spirit teaching them truth--there has been no invitation yet by the non-believer, still in the dark. } The One accord is wanting to have Christ as your Saviour and wanting to live for Him Completely and with out a doubt that this is your whole life's mission, is to have Christ lead you personally on the Path to Salvation...and nothing in your own strength....on the other hand, the way every one thinks of this is different, not necessarily wrong, just different, but not to God.

Remember he reads the Heart and for us...it is all visual.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
