Hell as it's popularly depicted really doesn't appear in the Bible. The Old Testament mentions "Sheol" which is more like the Greek Hades in the way it's described- a waiting place for the dead. Jesus does mention the lake of fire in one of his parables.
Most of what we think of when we hear "hell" was invented later.
The idea of a burning place of torment for sinners is a pagan concept. It is not taught in the bible. Most people are followers and prefer to do as they are told by their preachers or priests rather than studying the bible and learning the truth.
The word hell that you see in the bible is a replacement for the word sheol or the word hades found in the original scriptures, both meaning the common grave of mankind.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
