Christians don't actually take the story of Noah's Ark literally, do they?

Yes. Attempting to take everything in the Bible as literally true is what has caused the fragmentation of Protestantism into thousands of conflicting manmade denominations, teaching thousands of conflicting, and therefore false, beliefs. Truth cannot conflict with truth.

Of course "literally true" actually means "whatever I think the literal truth is when I read the Bible".

You either accept that God made it all purposefully by speaking it into being creating light 3 days before the sun Birds and Fish the day before land animals and formed man's body out of the dust of the earth and breathed life into it. Or you accept that God lied to us Now...can you be a Christian and say God lied to us No. And what is your reason for doubting God's version....because some man told you different srsly?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
