What is the story of Noah's Ark?

Noah's Ark ......could float?..... Dimensions were....... 450 ft.long by 75 ft.wide by 45 ft. high, in 22 1/2 feet of water, and the mountains were covered. Shrink this to toy size and put in a bowl of water and its like having a fig bar, floating upright. There were 1,600 species of mamals, 12,500 different species of birds, 600 species of reptiles, 3 1/2 million kinds of insects, and microscopic animacule creatures.

And the sloath (since its the slowest creature on earth), it would have taken it over 200 years to make its way to the Ark. Then the methane gas from the pee and poop scattered everywhere almost killed everything. I wonder where Noah and his family went to go potty?

The lions wanted to take their heads off many a time. Oh Lord there comes another tusami to kill us all! Then Noah prayed to the Lord and his azz was spared once again.

Over a year on the Ark, and the rabbits and other animals multiplied! There were so many that Noah started shooting them! Everything after its kind was humping and making whoopie constantly!

The story is not the law. The law is for practice everyday. Stories like that are up there with myths.

Probably they are attempts to explain the scientific reality without scientific terms. Imagine trying to explain computers to ancient peoples. You would demonstrate more than you would explain.

For example, there are more secrets of language meanings than what the story outright tells. The other questions above ... -they were instructed by higher beings who were close to God to build -they were from around the world, and had technology and power to gather them -they planned. 40 days is also the time that an adult can live w/o food, so its also a reminder, not just a fact.

-it wasn't only 12. That is just the 12 God chose for that purpose, the "righteous ones" (but that's a very good science question) -it wasn't only Jews. They were just special to God because of their beliefs were passed onto them.

There have been other religions including before the Jews, here on Earth -they have been creating animals and plants since the beginning and brought up specific kinds for the purposes of shaping human life at this time and not the peaceful place of Eden there's a secret about trees we can't tell right now. Its pretty good too. Its definitely religion and will be interesting when all the theories are out there and ready.

But for now lets say that they were here before us and hopefully will be there should the world fall apart due to industrial interference. If we lose those we'll be losing a precious natural gift! -the "unflood" that's a good one.

Well - who's to say it is directly as its stated. Its not the law, its the support. Its a fantasy as all stories are, but there are facts involved.

How far into the scriptures will you have to read to start finding the real and hidden meanings? -incest is wrong because it breaks down the genetics of the species and leads to pain and suffering of all people involved. This is a serious issue and a human rights violation.

Sadly, it is included in the Bible because people did need to learn that because advanced thinking was not there for everyone long ago, religion teaches freedom and a proper family, which is sometimes very serious. The truth is if a person has been abused you may mention something like this and then they may feel comfortable talking to you or another teacher or religious person about what happened to them. Depending on what happened, it means people can help the family and straighten out the people and help them heal emotionally.

There is also childcare involved. Nice stories are great for children. Noah's animals are indelible to the child's mind and of course is soothing and makes them trust authorities, even if they are from a difficult or needy background, such as where abuse occurs.

Use the law to guide such people and hopefully it will be easy for them to trust what is good about this and their suffering and sick mindedness will be gone and they can have good and happy marriage and family. Other forms of sexual immorality are not usually as dangerous, but those who know should try to prevent. Even if you don't believe in religion.

Please forgive this long answer. Keep reading the bible and it should start to make sense. Everyone deserves a good and healthy life and this includes spirituality and stories and questions.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
