Believers have been saying "something big" will happen almost every year for the past 2000 years. Nothing real is happening this September, but that doesn't stop the uneducated from thinking there is something happening. Did your baptist grandfather say the same thing about May 2011 when the Rapture was supposed to happen?
Can your baptist grandfather explain why a website that lists biblical prophecies of doom isn't even consistent in its own internal lists? What rational people know is a website dedicated to biblical prophecy is not a reliable source of information.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
