For those who are born-again Christians, what is your view of the rapture? Pre-trib, Mid-trib, Post?

I grew up in Baptist, and you will be preached out of the church, if you question the rapture. The word appears in the Latin Vulgate but no where else. I personally do not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture for Christians.

That would mean a third coming of Christ. Christians take the references to "caught up" in the air in I Thes. As his deliverance of Christians from the horrors of the tribulation.

This is what everyone calls the Rapture. The problem here is that Christ doesn't actually return until it is time to remove the Antichrist from the throne in Jerusalem, which is well into the tribulation. So if there is a rapture, it can only happen after the tribulation.

This is why so many people will be shocked: we are all being left behind. If there is a "caught up" by Jesus of Christians, it will be upon s second coming to dispose of the Antichrist, not before the tribulation. The pre-tribulation rapture is most likely when the Antichrist appears in the skies to take the misled Christians who will worship They think he is Christ because he appears just like they will be expecting.

I plan to write a Hub on this next week. Look for it.

There will not be a pre-tribulation rapture as so many Christians claim. The doctrine of the pre-trib rapture is one of the devil, and he uses it to make the members of Churchianity weak. Unfortunately, or fortunately (depending on how you look at things), God's chosen people will have to endure through the tribulation.

The scripture is very clear on this one. The rapture is pre tribulation. I will elucidate further with some scriptures as I go on.

Just like Enoch was translated before the flood, so will the bride of christ. Also just like Elijah was translated so will the bride of christ.

God has given us insights into what would be in the future. Elijah was translated but Elisha was not. Enoch was translated before the flood but Noah was not.

The picture is two types of saints. Those who will escape the great tribulation and rule and reign with christ in the thousand year reign (millenial reign) and those who will go through the great tribulation.

1 thess 4:13-18 speaks about the rapture. 2 thess 2:1-12 speaks about the tribulation as a result of the church being taken out of the way (rapture) to make room for the spirit of lawlessness, the anti christ.

Good God I feel the anointing writing this. Enoch prophesied about the return of our Lord Jesus with his saints in jude 14-15. This happens when the lord returns to earth after the rapture, a 7year period to destroy the anti christ government and to purge the earth of all evil.

Wait, the lord can't come with his saints unless he has come for his saints....halleluyah.

This confirms 1 thess 4:13-18. Do you see the picture now beloved. I will give you more scriptures later, I am rushing off to work.

I am a non-denominational Christian who believes in a mid-tribulation rapture. Though I have a difficult time explaining the book of Revelation, one thing that keeps recurring to me, especially us Americans, is we deserve some mid-trib pain. We have had too good of a life, with too many opportunities to turn to God and live for him and not this world.

But in our infinite stubborn personalities, we individually put ourselves ahead of others and live in this world vicariously for the devil. It is in our time of hurt, need, anguish and pain that we most turn our faces toward God. Pre-tribulation is too good for us.

Thank you for asking the community this question.

I too have heard differing takes on the rapture and just as you said folks do tend to get a little riled up. I believe that there will be a pre-tribulation rapture because that is what I understood from reading Revelation. Whether I am right or wrong is insignificant because my faith is still in Christ and He has promised to redeem me.

Rapture or no someday I will be with .

From my limited knowledge that I have been able to glean from John's Book of Revelation in The Holy Bible, and again my knowledge is very limited, there will come a day in time, just before "The Apocolypse or Great Tribulation and the Presence of The Anti-Christ".

On this one day, 1/3 of earth's entire population will in an instance in time, suddenly disappear, vanishing from earth. The ones to vanish are to be those who are the strongest believers and followers of Christ Jesus, who will catch them up and bring them to heaven.

You could be in an office meeting with others and suddenly vanish. You could be walking down the street with your family and suddenly disappear. There will be no rhyme or reason for your disappearing, one second your there the next poof your gone.

I'm not a born-again christian--I was raised christian but died and was resurrected as something else entirely...however, I couldn't resist answering your question because it is a topic that I address in my book...being a student of Jungian psychology, I have to believe that the armaggedon and related events is really truly a personal experience...a battle between good and evil within our own hearts and souls...and the only way we rise to rapture, the only way we truly overcome evil is to open our hearts to the Christ consciousness...an unconditional, forgiving, gentle love vibe/ understanding of ourselves and all of Earth's creatures...to me it seems so clear but I've also done a lot of personal work and research....hope this gives you something worthwhile to ponder...

I believe there will be a rapture of the Church at the last trump, just as Paul said in 1 Cor 15:52. Aligning this with Rev 16:15 I believe the Church will be here during the tribulation, but will not be here for the outpouring of God’s wrath. However, I am looking for any substantial Bible Study that would indicate a pre-trib rapture!

For sure! I just stay ready and watch! For my personal study on this subject, I have a hub called "In the Air - On the Earth", in the meantime :-) Blessings!

Read the Book of Revelation and all your questions will be answered. I'd suggest new English Standard Version which is in modern English and easier for a new convert to understand.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
