Yes, most Christians accept and understand the concept of human caused climate change. Don't assume that all Christians (or followers of other faiths) are stupid. Yes, some religious people are very stupid, but by no means all, and not most.
The majority of ALL people are stupid and poorly educated, and you can't blame religion for that.
Human dig up and burn a ton of coal for each person on Earth every year. There are more than 7 billion humans. These are economic facts.
If you calculate how much CO2 that releases, compared to the known mass of the atmosphere (15 pounds per square inch over all the square inches of the surface of the world), you will see that in 50 years, humans have doubled the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. There's no doubt about that. (Furthermore, the Carbon 13 to Carbon 12 isotope ratio of atmospheric CO2 has changed in a way that indicates that most of the CO2 is from fossil fuels.) These are facts.
So the assertion that humans can't change the atmosphere is simply false.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
