Generally not- the vast majority of FBI/CIA employees can freely admit who they work for. FBI agents are law enforcement agents, who are subject to the same sort of rules as police are, so in general, they do not hide who they are unless they are working undercover as part of an authorised undercover operation. Otherwise, though, they don't have to hide anything (except the specific details of what they are working on).
CIA staff, it depends a bit on what part of the agency they work for- once again, most CIA agents are not spies or undercover secret agents or anything like that. Most work in office jobs analysing data and so forth. Those out in the field where it would not be a good idea to reveal that they are CIA agents will be given a cover story with a job.
Depends on what you're doing. If you are in the secretarial pool, probably not. If you are a deep cover secret agent double spy, you probably don't want to advertise that....
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
