By taking general courses you can fulfill the requirements to transfer and you can decide what classes you like. During college you can intern and shadow professionals to figure it all out. About the money situation, have you tried talking to your school's financial aid office?
Have you tried searching and applying for outside scholarships? Also maybe if you apply to the FAFSA you may get some money or loans. If you have tried this without success maybe you can declare yourself independent on the taxes depending on your age or situations.
This way you can get more money. How about the board of governor's fee waiver? Maybe they have that in your state.
Applying for a part-time job will also help. Figuring out what you want to do takes time so don't cry or worry. Try to take it slow and soon enough you will learn what you are good at and like.
At least you know what things you don't like and might be your weakness. Take classes in the subjects that you did well in high school. I hope this helps!
I am sorry about your situation. May I suggest that you "think outside the box" and join the navy under a program where you will tested for aptitude for various jobs and receive training in one which you can use when you return to civilian life. The navy will provide a place to live, food, and a salary and it also will help you restore your self-esteem.
You also should receive educational benefits which you can use while in the navy and after you leave the service. See your local naval recruiter. Anchors aweigh!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
