Computer freezing is just a symptom of underlying serious problems with your operating system; and two possible causes for such occurrence are Virus/Malware and System/Registry Errors. You need to download any good cleaning software such as RegInOut for cleaning your system. Assuming that you have Anti-Virus installed.

Also look into the possibility of downloading MalwareBytes. Run scan of all software’s and you would be done with the issue of freezing/lag etc.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
