I'm not sure where simon received his information, but it's completely untrue. Windows 7 doesn't just STOP, in the way you're describing or otherwise, when it's not validated. The only difference between non-validated and genuine copies of Windows 7 are as follows: -A message stating that Windows is not genuine appears on your desktop -At initial login and at regular intervals, you'll receive a pop up in the task tray reminding you to validate Windows -Any desktop background you choose will eventually, after 60 minutes, revert to a black background -You will not be able to download non-security updates from Windows Update That is all, everything else is fully functional and your system certainly wouldn't lock up due to this.
IRT EDIT2: So far we've tried setting an environment variable for the device manager to show additional hidden devices and attempted to remove any ghost drivers from specific section to alleviate potential IRQ conflicts. You said there are no semi-transparent entries aside from those which I mentioned would be normal to see. Hard to believe, but fine.
I've suggested running a memtest, full virus scan in safe mode, and error checking the system drive. It seems none of this is possible due to the system locking up too frequently. What I haven't heard, however, is results from browsing the Event Viewer after a lockup to see if you can pin-point the source of the problem.
Besides that, I'm honestly at my wit's end as far as potential software fixes. Now you're getting even more problems with the video. Without being able to physically troubleshoot it myself, I would say it sounds like any or all of the following: faulty power supply, overheating CPU and possibly graphics adapter, corrupt system drive.
With all that said, sadly - the very simplest option for the next step would seriously be to format and reinstall the operating system. If none of the problems persist, then at least you know the issue was configuration/software related (and the issue is fixed with a fresh install, anyhow). If not, then the problem lies in the hardware which, to be honest, at this point seems to be the case.
Sorry I couldn't help you further. Good luck and Merry Christmas.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
