The reason why mexico is the way it is, is because of Mexicans. They are the majority over there. Territories are won in battle/war whether it was in response to an aggression invading force (six day war) or conquest.

If the Southwest was ever stolen it is by Spain (who only proclaimed the territory) & Mexico (who only inherited the territory due to troubling Issues in Spain) for they never conquered nor have completely defeated the native inhabitants nor cultivated the land. Geronimo & Others kept the fight against mexicans even after their defeat, but foreign relations & a peace treaty with Mexico (Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo 1848) made such action illegal thus the drive to confine the southwest natives in reservations. The U.S. didn't just defeated Mexico but even paid Mexico with 15- 22 million dollars or so for the territory.

Since ancient times spear chucker's or not the conquered are not paid for their territory or kingdom. Spanish claim over the south west was only expeditionary not conquest & the Aztec nor the Mayan empire were nowhere near the southwestern border & Spain never paid them for their kingdom but melted their gold. Mexico relied on the mormons to settle inhospitable Utah territory, & American settlers in texas whom never had Mexican protection from hostiles & outlaws nor representation through taxes yet non were spared in the Alamo much in the ways of al-qeuda.

The lost of the territory is being used to corrupt & Indoctrinate. Mexicans boast their culture superiority prior to their transformation but in reality they are boasting the society that transformed them into that societ's image. The Spaniard who the mexican natives believe where gods for their Pale or White complexion, destroyed their culture, religion, human sacrifices on top of pyramids made from rubbles, child mummy sacrifices on top of volcanoes (inca), mayan hieroglyphs, & slash mayan numerals (IIII-III).

The Spaniards gave them a more efficient Numeral Numbers, zeros, & decimals derive from India, gave them iron, guns, fabric, an alphabet (italic), literature, musical instruments, replaced their language with spanish, & Catholicism under a brutal inquisition. Now they call themselves spanish & ashamed of their Pre-Columbian (before, H Cortes/F Pissaro) Religion, language, & culture. Its been 2 centuries since the Industrial revolutions with mexico & most of the countries south of the border still dependent on Europe & North America for their technology.

The Modern Industrial revolution (External-Internal Engine, Steam - Oil Energy) started in Western Europe, the United States quickly followed then Eastern Europe, & the Orient. The Fire lance came from China evolved into a flint lock in Europe, then revolvers, repeaters, machine, automatic. Colt, Luger, Maxim, Gatling, Browning, Winchester, Kalashnikov.

Europe & North America quickly followed Nikolaus Otto, Karl Benz, & Rudolf Diesel with help from Good Year's vulcanization, later Japan, Korea, China, then India & Malaysia in a half a century or more. After the U.S. Atom bomb the Russian quickly followed up with the Tzar Bomba, the largest Nuclear Explosion ever conceive with U.K. China not far behind. In space the Russian had the lead surpassed by the U.S. followed by France, Japan, China, later India.

Ohain & Wittle's Engine was also quickly followed up. These modern achievement could not have spurred under Mexico's Political Environment & Culture of corruption. All the development in the Southwest was achieved under the U.S. state government & constitution.

Hoover dam, Golden gate bridge, Disney Land, Electrification, etc. Before there was any entitlements (before WW-II) the Amish, Mormons in Utah, Immigrants from the far East & Europe struggled & persevere to develop & cultivate inhospitable lands to prosperity. Even geniuses dug ditches to support themselves like Nikola Tesla. Back then Murderers, Armed Robbers, & Serial Rapist did not have the luxury of Life imprisonment, parole after 25 years & it didn't take 50-70 years to execute a criminal, but far more civil yet softer than Mexico since its existence.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
