Ok, I might get disliked for this opinion but this is what I would do. Yes, you have to do something you like. That is what life is about, enjoying as much as you can out of life.
However, there is a time for work and a time for fun. Personally, I would go with the environmental science route as it has the potential to make the most money out of the three. Then, on your off time like after work or the weekends, you'll be financially comfortable enough to have a fun hobby.
Work is called 'work' for a reason and fun is called 'fun' for a reason. I like physical education and would have majored in something along that line, but it wouldn't have been financially smart for me to do that. So physical education is my hobby.
Ideal situation is to have a fun job that is also pays well. Whatever you do though, make sure it's your own decision, Don't make your decision based on what strangers from yahoo answers said.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
