Could a HBK vs. Sting match exceed an Undertaker vs. Sting match?

Maybe not Wrestling wise, but It would be big, the way The Rock v Hogan was so huge, the match wasnt amazing but the crowd made the match because it was so big, just for who is in it. Sting was pretty much the main guy in WCW and Undertaker is a huge name. And since Stings never been in WWE the 2 have never had a confrontation, so for that reason the match would be big, even if neither man is at there best.

A huge amount of people would buy the event just to see that even if the match wasnt a classic theyde still enjoy it and talk about it If it happened I think they could put on a pretty good match thatd be remebered for a long time. Just not what they could do if both were in there prmes.

Borrowing "This has been THE "dream match" for most wrestling fans for more than a dozen years. All Vince would have to do is sign Sting, announce the match, and WE would create the hype and advertisement for it. Vince wouldn't have to do a thing.

WE would sell Wrestlemania for him, just on that match alone. "Greatest WM Match ever"? VERY doubtful at their ages.

Both are consummate pros and would give us the best match they are capable of, but Sting isn't the colorful spike-haired Stinger of 1990 flying around all over the ring anymore, and Taker has slowed down considerably. But this match wouldn't be about being a "clinic" or a 5-star 30+-minute "classic". It would be an "epic confrontation" between two icons who have never met in the ring before.

The "ambiance" and those two in the same ring is what we want to see. They could just brawl and hit their signature moves on each other and the fans would eat it up (does Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania 25 ring a bell?). Maybe not the "greatest match" in WM history, but possibly the "greatest confrontation" in WM history."

If Sting has a feud with Taker, it would be a Icon vs Icon with tension. Kind of like HBK vs Taker. Sting would probably lose, but lose as a fighting hero in a match where both were exhausted and pushed to their limits.

This would save Sting's reputation as one of the biggest Faces in Wrestling history. It probably would be the biggest WM Undertaker match where the most people would actually want Undertaker to lose more than any other previous match he's had. It would be bigger than Taker vs Cena with the split fans.

It would literally create the mental break down of the fans mind loving both character equally that you would have literally no idea who to pull for, but you'd be pretty much emotionally stunned the entire match. Just like Hogan/Rock & Taker/HBK did to the fans. None of Hogan/Rock & Taker/HBK was 5 star wrestling clinic, but they are remembered for the unbelievable crowd reaction and unrivaled in-ring psychology, just like what would be if Taker/Sting happens.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
