That person does not sound trustworthy at all. Real employer would not say that and would be straight up about rules and such because they can get in trouble if they don't. Also, many people apply for jobs, so they don't need to break rules (or whatever she means I don't know) to hire someone.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
