I have to say the Eastern USA! URL1 Mahalo, has helped ME- Learn more about current issues. I always look at all the news reports located in the first page.

If you don't have a newspaper subscription, miss GMA in the morning or don't visit any news site, the best place to go is Mahalo. I have also learned to think and give my own opinions about a current issue affecting the world or country where you are. Not just follow what the Media say, they can't always be right about something.

Write better, every time I use Mahalo, I learn how to write and project my thoughts easier and more organized. I tend to overwhelm the reader with all kinds of information packed into one paragraph. Thankfully I have learned to space out my words better.

I have learned how to follow rules and proper online etiquette. Which includes holding back feelings and words that may not be very constructive. And about plagiarism, I haven't had much of an issue with copying and pasting, just adding references and citations, specially citations.

Lastly, I learned how to work and participate in a community. This community is very different from most on the web. It feels more integrated and as if we were all working to build something together, than just trying to pass the time, that's why social networks are for.

I guess we ARE building something "A Human Powered Search Engine" :D.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
