CPU speed lowers to 1.0ghz when playing intensive games on laptop?

I doubt that it's your fault that the HDD has failed. As Duncan said, HDDs just fail. I guess it will not hurt to take the HDD out of your laptop and attach it to another system either externally(with SATA to USB cable) or internally.

You may be able to access the drive. I doubt that this is related to your external HDD. Cheers, D_Know_WD.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
