Evolution is the central organizing principle of modern biology. We know this because humanity has been studying the structure and function of DNA since 1953, for 62 years. Not only do we now know that evolution is absolutely real, but we also know precisely how and why it works.
Half a century ago, there was still a life-science speciality called "evolutionary biologist." ...not any more. Now we have "molecular biologists," who track the flow of genetic changes through a population undergoing various evolutionary processes. "Should both views be taught in school?"
No, because, unlike superstitious religion, factual knowledge is never a matter of opinion.
Evolution says all modern species descend from a single lineage - that line is the coalescence of several older lineages - we can confirm multiple lineages combined to form our cell type (animal cells), which are significantly distinct from all other lineages. ID says nothing about this, only that evolution is not right. Intelligent design doesn't say anything of any significance, only that evolution is not right.
It's nothing more than a politically motivated publicity campaign hosted by uneducated Americans who have mutated their religion into a political party. In other words, your question is at best a meaningless noise, at worse it's a fraudulent lie - and THAT should be taught in schools everywhere!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
