Dogs very clearly can recognize words, although they are also very alert to tone. They do not understand grammar. My last dog understood walk and couch.
If I said "let's go sit on the couch," she would go jump on the couch and stand on the couch until I joined her, and she'd do the same if I said "let's set fire to the couch." If she hear the word walk, she would get excited and go to the door. It didn't matter what else I said.
I had to be careful about that, because "I will take you for a walk later" would get her standing by the door now, excited and expectant.
They respond more to emotions then they do language. Especially physical emotions. But its the combination that can make or break a command.
A great video about this would be "Dog Decoded.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
