Daily Poll: Are Christian Right Leaders Anti-American For Saying That God Wants To Punish America? Thursday September 10, 2009 Some conservatives, especially religious conservatives, complain that liberals are anti-American. Often they claim that liberals like or want to see Americans lose when it comes to things like the war in like Iraq or just lose economic and political power around the world. At the same time, there are many religious conservatives who exhibit glee when God "punishes" America for the sins of a few but they are not labeled anti-American.

Why? Perhaps I'm missing something, but if it's anti-American to suggest that perhaps America's foreign policy is part of the reason why America is the target of terrorist attacks like those on 9-11 then it's easily just as anti-American to declare that a hurricane or storm devastated part of America because of America's domestic policies (like on abortion or gay marriage). Indeed, the latter almost seems more anti-American ... more.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
