Dem's/Libs: If Hillary Clinton were to run against Obama in 2012?

Yes Clinton can and would have considerable supporters, probably most women, trade groups and independents but the party isn't exactly backing Obama and they don't want a floor fight between the two. The Democratic party in the house and senate are on the defensive.

Carter, people! The Democratic Party learned their lesson on how not treat an unpopular incumbent president. But Kennedy wasn't the first.

"Clean Gene" McCarthy ran against Johnson, came close, and Johnson dropped out. Nixon won. Reagan ran against Jerry Ford: Carter won.

Later, Pat Buchanan ran against George H.W. Bush, and Clinton won. The lesson is don't mess with what you've got. It's too late for a viable candidate to get in the primary race anyway.

Obama has a huge financial lead and I think Hillary still hasn't paid off her campaign debts.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
