Describe the foreign policy decisions during & after WW2?

If I were the president, I would have just killed off Emperor Hirohito. That way, the Japanese would see that their leader wasn't an infallible demi-god. The Japanese were basically at his total command, so his death would have been just as much of a shock to them (if not, more) than his surrender, so we still could have taken over as we did, and thousands of innocent people wouldn't have had to die.

I did a paper in college on the invasion of Japanese home islands. 5 Million US and up to 10 million Japanese casualties. Bomb was awful but necessary.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
