Kirk & crew fought one Greek "god," Apollo. Decker (son of Commodor Decker who died in "The Doomsday Machine") became godlike himself with Persis Kambata and I resent that they never revisited those guys. The "Start Rek: TNG" could have had their whole Q Continuum be at least related to them.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
