Your friend and who ever put that site together are idiots when it comes to tattoo aftercare. It sounds like you may have pulled out ink. Hopefully, you didn't cause scaring.
I sorta doubt it. Can it be saved, probably. Normally tattoo artists will do free touch-ups.
In this case it's unfair to expect that since you caused the damage. Call the shop, tell them you'd like to schedual a touch-up when you are healed, and pay (plus tip) for the rework.
Do not scrub it again, and just gently clean it with antibacterial soap for the first week. Tattoos take a couple weeks to heal all the way and stop peeling/itching. So give it 2 weeks, and if it looks off, talk to the tattoo artist about possible touchups.
Try not to panic. Your arm might be angry and sore for a few days, just be patient and let it heal.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
