Did Kim Jong Il did the right thing to develop nuclear weapons?

He never created any because his country is so poor, his countrys wealth wouldn't even crack the 1 percent in the USA.

Perhaps the right thing for North Korea, but not necessarily for the rest of the world. If mental illnesses could be applied to the governments of nations, North Korea would be a paranoid schizophrenic. We're no more comfortable with a mentally ill person talking to themselves and holding a loaded gun then we are with North Korea having a nuclear bomb.

If his goal is to annihilate everyone but China, then yes. Unfortunately, that was his goal.

The US would invade at any instant. Of course it was wise!

I think that a nation developing nuclear weapons in order to deter the military might of nuclear power is justified. A military power has no right to run around attacking weak nations while denying them the ability to become strong. However, seeing as "our dear leader" wasnt protecting his nation, but rather, letting them starve while he attacked his neighbors and took dumps on a gold toilet, he was obviously not trying to protect his country.

He was trying to expand his personal might. So in his particular case, no, he did not do the right thing.

Probably. North Korea isn't paranoid. Everyone is really out to get them.

Who else has been militarily invaded by the entire United Nations? Let's hope Kim Jong Un is a rational deal maker who really wants to improve the lot of his countrymen.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
