Did McConnell see a political gain by trying to make President Obama 1 term president?

Congress's job is write the budget. They should submit what they want to Obama, and let the chips fall.

You have to understand that the Dems took over the house and senate in the 2006 elections. All Bush could do his last two years was sign or veto whatever the Democrats sent him. He made the decision to sign most of the stuff (mistake) and things started falling apart in 2007.

When Obama was elected in 2008 things got even worse. So, I actually WANT the republicans to block any more stupidity Obama and the Dems come up with. While it would be nice if Obama and the democratic Senate would work with the republicans to resolve stuff, it won't happen.

This impasse is just as much due to the Dems insistence on spending money we don't have as it is the GOP trying to stop it. The Dems like to blame the Republicans, but the truth is they still control the presidency and the senate. Hopefully we can get a new president in2012 to get things going again.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
