Did Obama enjoy taking a Memorial Day family vacation while the Oil Spill continues?

He's definitely not the first president to not participate in the Memorial Day at Arlington, and certainly won't be the last. He IS having a Memorial ceremony at a Chicago veterans cemetery. George Bush Jr. and Sr.

Both skipped this event and so did Ronald Reagan, even though he was just a couple of hours away from Arlington. Bush Jr. did the exact same thing Obama is doing during his presidency. He went home to Texas and held a ceremony at a cemetery there.

The whole idea about the Gulf spill, he is visiting the Gulf tomorrow. I'm sure there's not a lot that he can personally do, but I'm sure there are some things that will be implemented tomorrow, or at least a plan will be started after he sees the disaster that there is going on down there.

I beleive his plans are going to a sox game instead. Then he plans on going to a memorial service where cabrini greens was located to pay tribute to all the gangster disciples who have fallen.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
