There are many reports about Barack Obama being a muslim during the last year there were a couple of reports claiming Obama to be muslim using different ways to "prove" that. All newspapers regarding themselves as being serious, brought up a correction later, e.g. The one you can see when going to the link I provided as source:-------- snipThe toxic Texan's foreign policy doctrine will endure, page 26, June 20, was referring to, not endorsing, the position taken by others when it used the term "apostate Muslim" in relation to Barack Obama. Obama has never been a Muslim.
-------- snipI don't know the interview in question but it surely falls into the same topic and if you check the correction-pages of the Washington Times I'm sure you will find a similar entry. Sources: http://www.guardian.co.uk/theguardian/2008/jun/28/2 .
Yes, that must have been a slip, if he said that Obama has been a active Christian for over 20 years. There is no evidence that he is indeed a muslim. Then again, would it really be so bad if Obama in fact was a muslim?
It would mean he still is religious, contrary to many americans nowadays. And despite the war on terror and all, Christians and muslims are not that mus different in faith. (please mind that I am not an American, I live in the EU, so I might underestimate the importance of religion in this matter) .

Yes, but it is usually taken out of context by those who want to attack Obama You can watch the complete video here:youtube.com/watch?v=wpoAVAA1F30&feature=... some people cut a few seconds of that video and came up with the following video which is misleading:youtube.com/watch?v=XKGdkqfBICwIf you watch it carefully the "correction" that the other guy makes is completely WRONG. He did mean "My Muslim faith". He meant "My faith that OTHERS refer to it as "Muslim faith"".
The fol"What I was suggesting -- you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you're absolutely right that that has not come. "Which completely makes sense, since they were talking about the fact that McCain has not suggested Obama is Muslim.
If you replace "My Muslim faith" with "My Christian faith" it doesn't make sense, however. But the guy confuses Obama with his "correction". In fact the guy's "correction" makes Obama believe that he made a mistake in saying "My Muslim Faith".
Then Obama continues and explains what he meant completely:"Well, what I'm saying is that he hasn't suggested that I'm a Muslim. And I think that his campaign's upper echelons have not, either. What I think is fair to say is that, coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps I'm not who I say I am when it comes to my faith -- something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time."http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/sep/07/obama-verbal-slip-fuels-his-critics/In any case, his faith shouldn't matter but he is not a Christian and he didn't even make a mistake in saying "My Muslim Faith"!
Factcheck.org has an article about Obama's faith:http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/sliming_obama.html .
1 This is month-old news. washingtontimes.com/news/2008/sep/08/oba... at in context, it's obviously a slip of the tongue. I'm just surprised we haven't seen it on Askville before.
I doubt it'll be the last time.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
