Did Pres. Obama sastifactorally answer questions in regard to gulf oil spill in his midday news conference?

1 He's a politician and he told people what they wanted to hear. Now, the government can go back to doing what it was before - nothing. Besides, Obama had more important things to do today than spend time worrying about the disaster in the Gulf - he had to meet with the Duke Blue Devils basketball team and get his "Obama" basketball jersey.

Now THAT'S IMPORTANT! .

2 I didn't see the press conference. I did hear about the resignation of S. Elizabeth Birnbaum, Director of the Minerals Management Service, and her parting shot at the Bush Administration.

How appropriate. Anyway, I don't think the administration has responded quickly enough because they totally under estimated the gravity of the oil spill. Perhaps President Obama needs to carefully look at those who are advising him and make changes.

3 Right! FEMA arrived in New Orleans in 3 days and that wasn't quick enough. The oil has been gushing in the Gulf for more than a month, and Obama gets a pass.

TurboB replied to post #3: 4 > FEMA arrived in New Orleans in 3 days and that wasn't quick enough.Incorrect. Not only did FEMA not arrive in three days, they went out of their way to hinder and stop hotels, hospitals, and relief agencies from providing help, medical supplies, food and transportation out of the area. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_gover... FEMA response to Katrina, head by Bush's "Brownies doin a great job" buddy, was pathetic, bungled, mismanaged, and screwed up to the point the Brown quit his job and ran away like the coward he is.

People DIED, and their blood is on his hands. For you to compare his total screw up to the fact that Obama expected BP to clean up the mess they made is stupid, and just more tea bag hatred of all things not white, rich, and far right wing. BTW- you poster boy, Rush Wingbag - said that this kind of thing happened all of the time, and we should let nature deal with it.

Where's your outrages indignation over that statement? " "The ocean will take care of this on its own if it was left alone and left out there," Limbaugh said. "It's natural. It's as natural as the ocean water is.

"I can't wait to see what he has to say when the oil starts washing up in front of his house on Palm Beach! .

I hope it covers the whole house - preferably with him in it! .

To measure cubic feet, you multiply the height by the width and multiply that by the depth. For example: a cube that was two foot tall, and two foot wide and two foot deep would be eight cubic feet. You can find more information here: ehow.com/how_4531317_find-cubic-feet.html.

A cubic foot is the volume in a box that is 1 foot long, 1 foot wide and 1 foot high. Building contractors quite often use the term "yard" when they mean "cubic yards." When someone talks about yards of concrete or yards of topsoil they really mean cubic yards.

A cubic yard is the volume of a box that is 1 yard long, 1 yard wide and 1 yard high. So how many "cubic foot" boxes could you fit inside a "cubic yard box"? One yard is three feet so you can fit 3 3 = 9 "cubic foot" boxes on the bottom of a "cubic yard" box.

Cubic feet in a cubic yard.

S view was that objects engaged in uniform motion. Have a good one!

Galileo Galilei was buried too. When Galileo Galilei was 8, his family moved to Florence, but he was left with Jacopo Borghini for two years.1 He then was educated in the Camaldolese Monastery at Vallombrosa, 35 km southeast of Florence.

No, you can't breed Latios or Latias but you can catch Latios in Sapphire and Latias in Ruby.

Sounds ridiculous, but it sounds good to me. But let The Pokemon Company do what's best for them - they won't let us breed Latias and Latios together to make an egg. If you ever see me at the SPP chatbox, then you'll see me as Marill.

Fun Fact of the Month: Although Zekrom and Reshiram are Black and White respectively, they are the mascots of their opposite color. No they shouldn't be allowed to breed. They are legendaries.

Legendaries don't breed. PM me with offers. If Latias and Latios are able to breed with each other, a sort of unfair situation would arise wherein the baby could only be a Latias.

It could be like the whole deal with the Nidorans or Illumise/Volbeat with a 50/50 chance for either one. Or there's only one boy, and that would be one happy Latios, if you catch my drift.

Well, if enough "siblings" breed, wouldn't there be at least two of them far enough apart so that they're no longer related genetically? Well, if enough "siblings" breed, wouldn't there be at least two of them far enough apart so that they're no longer related genetically? Hmm, valid point about the Nidorans, it might be randomly decided. As for the siblings breeding, as far as I'm aware, each subsequent generation will probably suffer from genetic defects, with the issue worsening at the eight generation.

Don't get too hung up on the inbreeding. Pokemon don't even breed the same way that animals do in Real Life. Since " inbreeding " is already possible in the games, the offspring have no genetic defects, and many NPCs in the games claim no human has ever seen a Pokemon actually lay an egg it's possible that Pokemon Breeding is just different biologically then what we know as fact.

'sides the Lati@s breeding don't have to be (and probably are not) related. The pairs in the Main Games have never been stated to be related. I LOVE WATER TYPES!

It would be cool if Latios and Latias and breed some type of Legendary that will be genderless. Another flying/dragon type that you can only get by breeding these two. What is love but what the heart wants, when the head plays no part, when undeniably you have found the one for you?

Love is beautiful and fragile.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
