Yes, where I used to live it was impossible to get home due to lack of public transport. Not everyone has the money to spend it on a taxi.

All the time. I used to hitch hike across Canada and part of the U.S. And I appreciated the rides I got so if the hiker looks clean, I give them a ride. If they look like they are dirty or drunk I usually won't but occasionally I still do because I don't know why they look rough.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
