Nope,I disliked everything about high school, was asked I just threw the invite away.
Yes, I went to my 20th. Ya know, it's funny. My dad was a well-liked teacher but it really cramped my style because he was always there through all my school years (strict with me, too).
Wouldn't you know they invited him to the reunion so he was still there! Lol .
Never went to any of them, after talking to a few old "friends" from HS on the phone years after graduating, I realized they hadn't changed 1 bit, they still lived in the same city, and were still giggly brainless HS kids, they never changed, they never grew up. I didn't want to continue friendships with HS kids.
Went twice, it was kind of fun both times, seeing people I hadn't seen in years--and how did they get so OLD! .
Same way as us ,I guess,LOL,Thanks! SirTruth-a-lot 3 months ago .
LOVED HS,I skated last two years,I worked REALLY hard in jr HS,and got ALL my "sciences" and "math" out of the way. So for me ...it was band and R.O.T.C. In my jr,and sr years SirTruth-a-lot 2 months ago .
Nope - they've only had two in the 100 years since I graduated. Didn't know about the first one and was busy teaching Summer School during the second and couldn't make the 1800 mile trip. The gal who organized it e-mailed me some pictures and I'm glad I never went.
They all look so OLD! With one exception, the formerly cute girls have all become Little Old Ladies and a guy who was a pretty good friend looks like death warmed over - actually, he looks like a Little Old Lady as well. Seriously, I'm apparently the only one who has aged well and doesn't show their age.
Even my doctor thinks I'm 20 years younger than I really am. Everyone else is totally grey, or bald.....I still have my hair and it's only partially grey.....maybe there's something to be said for being single after all - everybody else is married and looks like crap! .
It is TRUE, that marrige ages you. In the 6 years, I was married, I aged 26 years. The nice thing is, when you get divorced ,you get "half" of those years back, just in time for..... a "mid-life" crisis!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
