1 Yep! Both! And never put an eye out!
With three brothers back when all that kind of thing was common and accepted we never thought a thing about it.

2 Red Ryder lever action BB rifle, the best damn gift I ever go. We had shoot outs, my little stupid friends and I, just like the movies. I caught one on the cheek, maybe two inches from my eye.
I stopped playing that game. Organized target matches after that, cans, bottles and Barbie dolls only. God, I still love that rifle. Is aAmerican culture too violent?

4 Yep - had one of each. Actually, I went through 2 Daisy BB guns before I finally graduated to a rifle. Loved that gun - had a lot of fun shooting cans off of fences, scaring my grandparent's chickens.....all the things a kid loved to do back in those much more innocent times.
These days kids don't want a BB gun - they want a .357 Magnum, or at the very least a .38 caliber pistol. That's where the real action is these days! .
