Why do " Gun Free " Cities like Chicago have the Highest Gun Murder Rates & Cities like Dallas have More Legal Guns & Far Less Gun Murders?

It's really quite simple. Criminals are cowards. Given a choice of WHERE they are going to commit their robbery, rape or murder, MOST cowards are going to commit their crimes in a location where it is less likely that they will encounter armed resistance.

Why would they choose a city or state where it is more likely to come up against citizens who own and use their own guns, when they could attack a "Gun Free Zone" and have a better chance of getting away with their crime because there are no law abiding citizens there to shoot back. THAT is why cities that have very strict gun control laws, like Detroit, Chicago, Washington DC, etc., also have the highest gun violence. The CRIMINALS know they can use a gun against unarmed citizens without meeting any serious resistance.

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.

Because guns are still easily available in nearby cities and states. Local gun laws are worthless, state's rights on such issues are just a way to defeat any workable system of background checks.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
