Did you know it's Odd Day? Today is May 7, 2009 - 5/7/09. Here's your permission to be odd?

Happy Odd Day! I feel at home with this holiday. Oddly enough, I guess I'll just do what I normally do.

The only holiday I have a problem with is National Nothing Day (January 16) If we celebrated would we be defeating the whole purpose of this holiday?

Oh, good! Now I have official permission.

I just found out about Odd Day (behind on my holidays this week, which is odd)! Today's date, 5/7/09, is one of only six days this century that features three consecutive odd numbers. The first Odd Day of this century was January 1, 2005 (1/03/05); the second was March 3, 2007 (3/05/07) - and now we have today.

What odd thing are you doing to celebrate? Happy Odd Day!

Objection, your honor! This is only Odd Day in the US. Everyplace else, they write the date in the sensible way, starting with the smallest unit and working up (dd/mm/yy).

Therefore, World Odd Day isn't until the 5th of July. And why won't we adopt the Celsius temperature scale already! Feet, pounds, inches, ounces--ridiculous antiquated measurements!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
