Ridiculous for starters... I will try to keep this short and to the point: Marriage is defined as holy matrimony in the eyes of God between a man and a woman. If gays want to invent their own "union", what is stopping them? Marriage IS WHAT IT IS.

Olbermann asks: why can’t 2 gay people enjoy the same happiness that 2 married people do? Again, no one is preventing "happiness" here....the two issues: happiness and marriage are separate. You don’t have to be married to be happy, and you all know that MANY married couples ARE NOT HAPPY.

If gays want the same "rights" as heterosexuals, then they need to BE heterosexuals.....and if heterosexuals want the same "rights" as President Obama, they need to run for president and win the election.....MANY different groups of people have certain "rights" and privileges that are for them and them alone...for example: *Do walking people get the same parking rights as handicapped people? NO *Do prisoners have the same rights as non prisoners? NO *Do children have the same rights as adults?

NO *Did pregnant women and seniors have to wait in 3 hour voting lines this past election? NO *Does a person who was just shot in the chest have to wait behind a person with an ear ache in the emergency room? They BOTH have a right to be treated quickly....NOOOO Heterosexuality and homosexuality are NOT THE SAME THING, AND DON’T DESERVE THE SAME RIGHTS.

There are thousands of different GROUPS of people who have DIFFERENT rights...We ALL cannot do and be and have the SAME THINGS... And all of us are left out somewhere in some capacity. This ridiculous notion of : it doesn’t matter what people do as long as they are happy is astoundingly stupid...it does make a difference..because everything any one person does can and will affect SOMEONE somewhere somehow. I don’t hate gays, children, seniors, prisoners, handicapped etc.I know that everything should not be treated the same, because it is not the same, and just because something works for one group does not mean it will work for another group.... There will always be a time when someone is unhappy.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
