Do all insurance agencies charge the same for the same healthcare company's policies- can I get a better price elsewhere?

1 I'm not an insurance agent, nor do I play one on TV. ;) Having said that, I tried skimming Oxford Health Plan information for their agents. ( https://oxhp.com/brokers/sell/sell.html ) I came away with the impression that the same customer buying the same products for the same number of employees would be charged the same amount, no matter who the agent is.

With one quibble. In the manual on commissions, there's a section on "we don't rig bids. " In that section, there's a clause about negotiating rates with the customer.

If you want to see this yourself, it's on Page 18 of this file: https://oxhp.com/secure/materials/brokers/475_37..., I'd probably have to sell health insurance in order to even know what questions to ask, in order to guess how likely you are to have an agent negotiate a lower rate for you. Barring that quibble, it looks like you'd have to switch companies or plans in order to reduce your rates.

That said, you never know and things may have changed by now. I don't want to sound like a commercial, but you should give Progressive.com a try and see what kind of quotes they can get you. I used them recently and discovered that where I live now State Farm had the best rates.

But like I said, when I was in D.C. (actually Greenbelt and later Bethesda), Geico was lowest for me on a Sentra, Eclipse, and Corvette. I hope that helps!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
