1 Actually, the story about the elephants never happened. Some animals can feel subsonics - like the super-low frequency noises that precede earthquakes.
Our cats sense a thunder storm coming before we even see a black cloud in the sky. They are hightailing it into the pantry or behind the freezer long before we see or hear anything. And good old Spike goes to his favorite 'safe spot' in the laundry room.
I still haven't figured out if it's their keen sense of hearing...vibrations they pick up or just how they can predict a storm coming long before it hits. Some dogs can actually sniff out cancer, pick up the chemical changes in a person near death..and, like Spike, predict a heart attack.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
