Do asian babies skin color lighten or darken as they get older?

It could have the same color. It could be darker or lighter, depending on DNA and if either or both parents have lighter or darker skin in there family. If the father grandfather is darker than him, the child could be as dark as the grandfather.

On the other hand, if the mother grandmother is lighter than the mother, the child could be as light as the grandmother. It's all depends on what genes the child get.
