Foolishly, Bernie's supporters, like all blind optimists, believe that all we need to do is get the wrong people out and the right people in, and everything will work out just peachy. This is, of course, breathtaking stupidity of the first degree. As Lord Acton said years ago must STILL be said today" "Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
Supporters of Bernie believe that HE can be trusted to grow government wisely and well. But what they absolutely fail to comprehend is that the system of growing governmental power is itself a corrupting influence, and that "We The People" are going to be crushed by it. More government is NOT the solution... I would remind Bernie supporters of the words of another great thinker, Albert Camus who reminded us, "The language of totalitarianism is always bureaucratic."
Under Bernie, totalitarian bureaucracy will increase, not decrease.
The average demographic of the Sanders supporter: white, 18-30, rich, pseudo-marxist, never really held a job, hipster doofus. I wouldn't worry. Sanders doesn't really stand a chance.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
