You are looking at the wrong cameras! Have you ever worked on a music video production? Did you notice that the cameras they are using are actual video cameras?
When a music video production company rents our studio, they also rent our continuous lighting systems with the studio. They bring the rented video cameras they need to use with them. Usually these cameras cost for from $15,000 to $25,000 when new and they have all the features a video production company needs but does not need to own.
The usually bring some sound equipment to aid in lip syncing while shooting each scene. The actual music that is added to the footage was recorded in a sound studio. Most of the work making a music video includes planing the shoot script, setting up each scene and necessary lighting, shooting the lip sync video and editing the final video by matching the music with the raw footage.
The two music video companies who rent our studios, usually use two video cameras which have Genlock so that the video from each camera can by synced by the video editor later in post. Genlock is just one of the features that will not be found on the 70D or 5D, Mark III. These video cameras also have 3-CCD's or 3MOS sensors and have built-in SMPTE time code generators Spend some time looking at the link to the brochure below and then visit the Canon website to see what features a digital SLR is missing before you spend any money.
NOTE: Can we assume that you already have the necessary video production computer purchased? One of my colleagues who is a video editor has just over $10,000 invested in her video recording booth. She started her business leasing the video editing equipment and as she got more and better funded production companies as clients, she was able to build her own video editing system.
My guess is that you have a passion for music and making videos, but not a whole lot of experience actually making such videos Before you end up with a lot of Canon digital SLR gear and are becoming frustrated when attempting to make amazing music video, you may want to work with a local music video production company to see just how this is all done and what kind of equipment you are going to need besides the camera.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
