Do cholesterol lowering drugs work?

Yes, they do. I have borderline cholesterol level and my doctor suggested that I take a cholesterol lowering drug. With constant medication and persistent blood works, my level came down and stabilized.

They do work, but then again, I'm on them forever. I hope this helps. Peace!

Cholesterol lowering drugs can work, and they can have drastic side effects as well. While they are lowering cholesterol moderately or significantly, they may also be causing liver dysfunction and kidney failure, muscle weakness and even death. Some 106,000 people die every year from the correct use of prescription medication.

Recently doctors have begun recommending Red Yeast Rice as a treatment for regulating cholesterol, with success. Yeast which grows on the rice contains a substance which inhibits cholesterol synthesis. Combined with an appropriate and suitable diet, this may be a way to treat high cholesterol naturally.

For additional perspective, consider that cholesterol drugs have been around for about 70 years. However Red Yeast Rice has been used by the Chinese since 800 A.D.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
