Do Christians who rant against socialism realize that Jesus's actions and teachings were very socialist?

Using a sensible point to appeal to a conservative mindset just does not work. Conservatism is inherently exclusive and requires that you ignore the plight of other people. It's closed minded and selfish none of the things that Jesus espoused.

Guys..you should all play dictatorship games like Tropico 3. I'm kind of advertising for them but I LOVE the game, it let's you control the government (you're a dictator on an island and you control most things on the island's government). I tried Communism and Capitalism on the island.

Capitalism works great when you wanna generate a LOT of money, but the people get mad and become rebels, go hide and then come back to attack, so you have to have a sufficient army to defend the population that decided not to go rebellion. The Communism method fails miserably but the people LOVE it. All the ratings go up, they die less often, it's easier to manage things since they die less you don't have to reassign people and reset wages so often.

And in the expansion, there's inflation, so if you need to pay off a debt, you can see how our own government does it. XD Fascism works like capitalism does and socialism works like communism does, but socialism is like a mix between capitalism and communism and it forces you to pay for the peoples' free health care. I know it can't be applied to reality, but all of the methods work in game if you're a brutal enough dictator.

And it was quite possible he was a socialist! It was quite possible we're taking it out of context and he's a capitalist that believes in donation! Then again, I don't know since I'm not God, I prefer agnosticism and playing with awesome and beautiful economic simulation games like Tropico.

I wonder if anyone will mod it to allow me to test the stimulus package one day? (BTW Universal health care, gay marriage and universal religion yes, the gov't pays for chuches in game are all supported by whatever political approach you take. Just gotta know what you're doing).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
