No. Once a dog is pregnant, that's it. Mating again does not increase the amount of puppies.

I totally get u! But in this case am keeping the puppies. Dogs are like family to me.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
