In the first month or so of taking the pill you can still get pregnant, your doctor should have advised you to keep using other means of protection until the medication can take effect. If you've been on te ortho for a while, spotting isn't unusual and you should keep taking your pill every day as directed.

Regardless of how your period is/when it starts....etc. And your birth control pills don't become fully active in your system until you've been taking them correctly for over a month. The pills should straighten out your period and you should not have more than one period a month .
"I started taking the pill yesturday becauseI started my period. And this morning I woke up to no period. "I started my birth control pack a week late bc my period was a week early.
"I started my first contraception pill on the day of my period. "Took the pill for a week and started to have side affects and stopped. "i start taking pill from the very first day of my period.
I finished all 28 pills but my period didnot start.
